Dan Nelson
grew up in his native Michigan listening to old time
country music played by his mother, grandfather and two uncles.
Over the last 35 years, he has played banjo with "Family
Tradition," "Ray Scalf & The Clay County Travelers,"
and has stepped in with "Bill Grant and Delia Bell"
and "Emma Smith." In 1996 he moved to northern Alabama
and joined the "Foggy Hollow Band" until 2002. In
addition to banjo, Dan plays guitar, dobro and sings lead
and harmony. |
